THE “GIORDANO” TRADEMARK CASE

This was a case reported in Walton International Ltd v Yong Teng Hing B/S Hong Kong Trading Co & Anor [2007] 3 CLJ 252.

In this case, it was held that although the Appellant who registered the “Giordano” trademark under class 25 for clothing, footwear and headgear, the court allowed the Respondent to register his “Giordano” trademark under class 9 for selling optical and sunglasses.
